Conspire
The meaning of this word is literally Breathe + Together.
Working in film and TV is so different to many other rope rigging environments. I often joke that my job is to find creative solutions for problem creatives. But I am also serious. My job is to work with, and not against, the brilliant creative minds that have a story in mind. It should not be a battle. If we work together, or ‘conspire’, then we can find amazing solutions.
Richard Delaney
Richard has worked in the roping and rigging world since 1992. His work has been in the built and natural environments in the fields of specialist production rigging, industrial rope access, rock climbing and canyon guiding, and mountain rescue.
Richard’s formal qualifications include:
– Bachelor of Engineering (hons)
– Master of Environmental Management
– Diploma of Outdoor Recreation
– SPRAT Level 3 Rope Access Technician
– High risk work licence (Australia): Dogging and Rigging
